Joey is the kid other kids are drawn to. He’s one part warm and real, with two parts fierce competitor built to battle every game. A two-sport athlete, and damn good at both, he leads teams he’s a member of with grace, creativity, competitiveness and a drive to win. He’s the type of teammate that raises the tide. Athletes look up to him, as he inspires them through his dedication and play, to rise up.

Concurrently warm and approachable, Joey is mature beyond his years. A kid you know you’ll see around town and he’ll greet you with a hug. Headed to Consumnes River College to study and play baseball this fall, Joey will no doubt grow in the sport, and in life, while gracing the Hawkeyes with the Pelka way. We’re looking forward to becoming his next-level fans.
